File Formats
These images are available in three different formats for your convenience:
- The files whose names include "vector" and end with the suffix "ai" are Adobe Illustrator© files which can be resized to any degree without compromising their quality. We recommend these for any high-end printing jobs you may be considering, particularly posters and apparel. (If you do not have Adobe Illustrator©, nearly any print vendor you work with will, and will be able to help you manipulate these files to suit your needs.)
- The files whose names include "300dpi" and end with the suffix "jpg" are compressed files which you can use for most printing needs. They measure roughly 6" x 4" and have a resolution of 300 dots per inch, which is the printing industry standard. Beware when enlarging these files, however, for they will start to become jagged looking once they reach a certain size threshold.
- The files whose names include "72dpi" and end with the suffix "jpeg" are compressed files which you can use for most online needs. They measure roughly 6" x 4 "inches on screen and have a resolution of 72 dots per inch, the standard for computer monitors. Beware when enlarging these files, however, for they will start to become jagged looking once they reach a certain size threshold.
