BiographyGeorge Ducharme has been a trainer since the mid-1980s. He started as a groom at Foxboro Raceway with Greg MacDonald. Among the top horses in his career are Royalty For Life, Donttellmywife, Penny Dream, A Penny Earned and Four Damsals. He has had success with young horses in both the New York and Massachusetts sire stakes programs. Winning both the 2013 Hambletonian and Canadian Trotting Classic with Royalty For Life has been the highlight of his career. He and his wife, Marge, live in Norfolk, Mass., and have two sons, George and Jake.
