It should be noted that the win totals and money totals for a given driver's career may not exactly add up to the sum of the figures above it. There is a slight discrepancy between the USTA computer and the figures listed in these pages, and in the interest of uniformity we have decided to accept the computer's figures as the more accurate. In most cases, the difference is less than 1% of the numbers involved. When figuring lifetime UDR for drivers who had a number of wins added to their early records, these wins are not included in figuring the UDR.
For every year since 1947, when research started, a driver's ranking in the top 25 for wins and money in a given year is placed in parentheses after the total. Lifetime ranks are also provided where applicable.
The “Classic Races” section for each driver lists
only a representative number of stakes victories -- it is not
meant to be complete. For complete stakes results click
here.
Any driver's statistics may be updated at any time,
and any other driver can be researched, by contacting the Communications
Department of the USTA.
Lifetime trainer's statistics are included at the
end of each trainer's biography. Please note that the USTA did not
begin compiling trainer's statistics until 1991, so these numbers
include the years 1991-2007.
The “Dan Patch Award Winners” section for each
trainer lists the divisional champions (from 1981-2007) for which
he/she was the trainer of record.
