BLUR was last to clear before the half, parked out slight pressure through pedestrian fractions, and kept the favored Flawless Bluestone locked in the pocket until it was too late, just holding that one off to score at 3 to 1. FLAWLESS BLUESTONE let the eventual winner clear easily on the backstretch, wound up locked in the pocket off slow fractions, managed to squeeze out with about 100 yards to go, but did not have enough time left to collar the winner. JUST LIKE DREAM followed excellent cover second-over, tipped three wide into the lane and appeared to be the biggest threat to the winner, but flattened out off a dream trip. HER CULESE followed Just Like Dream third-over, fanned widest into the lane, but did not make up ground on the top three. JERSEY GAL left to secure the two-hole, was shuffled back to fourth-in, veered widest of all mid-stretch, and trotted evenly. LADY LIFTER was away third from the rail, made a solid first-over bid in the third panel, but could not sustain it. REINVENT was last in along the rail, had clearance in the middle of the track, but no kick. COULANTINE was parked out to the lead at the quarter, yielded readily to backstretch movement, skimmed the cones third-in, and tired. COURTNEY HALL followed cover fourth-over, tried to launch a wide bid into the lane and had nothing. JALOPY followed Courtney Hall and could not catch even her.
