BiographyChris Antonacci is originally from Somers, Conn., where he grew up on Lindy Farms of Connecticut. He was a groom and assistant trainer at Lindy Farms from 2003-2010 and has held trainer, matinee driver and owner licenses from the USTA and various racing jurisdictions. Antonacci attended Duke University and authored a senior thesis titled “A Nation of Trotters; Harness Racing in America, 1800–1917,” which examined the populist roots of American harness racing. In 2010, he graduated with distinction with a B.A. degree in history and certificate in markets and management. After teaching middle-school math and science for two years in the school district of Philadelphia, he attended NYU Law School, receiving his J.D. degree in 2016. Currently residing in Hampden, Mass., Antonacci is a general counsel for his family’s businesses including Lindy Farms. He is a member of the breeder/owner KR Breeding, LLC and actively involved in the management of Red Mile and Tattersalls Sales Company.
