Biography

Dein Spriggs is the president of the Florida Standardbred Breeder’s and Owners Association, as well as the president of the Florida Amateur Driving Club, now known as the United States Harness Drivers Club, with past charitable donations of more than $300,000. Formerly a regular participant in the CKG Billings Amateur Driving Series, Spriggs was named National Amateur Driver of the Year twice, first in 2004 and then again in 2005 and was the US representative in the 2017 Amateur World Cup. He was the leading driver of the Florida Amateur Driving Club’s series at Pompano Park for multiple years. Dein is a second generation horseman, following his father William “Bill” Spriggs and his brother Steve.
