Biography
Tina Schrock and her family have been involved in the harness racing industry for four generations. She became a licensed charter while in college and continues to chart at county fairs throughout Illinois. In 2013, she became the secretary/treasurer of the Mid-Western Illinois Racing Association and began clerking county fair races in Illinois. In the spring of 2025, when the four county fair associations in Illinois merged to form the Illinois Standardbred Association to oversee all county racing in the state, Schrock became the secretary/treasurer of the newly formed group. She also serves as identifier for several county fairs, the Hawthorne summer/fall meet and the state fairs held in Springfield and Du Quoin and has served as the operations manager for both the spring/summer preview races and the Hawthorne meet held at the Illinois and Du Quoin State Fairgrounds. Schrock also serves on the committee which hosts the Illinois Standardbred Banquet that recognizes the top performers in Illinois. My decision to run for the position of USTA Director comes from a desire to help Illinois racing survive during difficult times and be involved with promoting our industry.
