Chris Antonacci
Christopher (Chris) Antonacci is originally from Somers, Conn., where he grew up on Lindy Farms of Connecticut. Antonacci was a groom and assistant trainer at Lindy Farms from 2003-’10 and has held groom, trainer, matinee drivers and owners licenses from the USTA and various racing jurisdictions. He attended Duke University and authored a senior thesis titled, “A Nation of Trotters; Harness Racing in America, 1800–1917,” examining the populist roots of American harness racing. In 2010, he graduated with distinction with a B.A. in history and certificate in markets and management. After teaching middle school math and science for two years in the School District of Philadelphia, he attended NYU Law School, receiving his J.D. in 2016. Antonacci currently resides in New York, N.Y., and is a N.Y.-barred attorney specializing in environmental and land resource issues at Latham & Watkins, LLP. He is a member of the breeder/owner KR Breeding, LLC and an active participant in the management of Lindy Farms of Connecticut. Antonacci is also actively involved in the management of Red Mile and Tattersalls Sales Company.

Joe Frasure , Jr.
Joe Frasure Jr. is the race secretary and stall superintendent at Isle Casino Racing Pompano Park. He has been involved in the sport for more than 40 years, starting at Lebanon Raceway cleaning stalls when he was 13. Wanting to learn from the best in the game, in 1979 he went to Pompano Park where he worked for Bill Haughton, Jim Rankin, Mickey McNichol and Joe Caraluzzi, before opening a public stable in 1987 at Pompano. In 2000 he was a second trainer for Dan Altmeyer, then Mickey Burke. He also trained off and on for Tom Harmer for a 12-year period, handling the great Jereme’s Jet. Some of the other top horses he has been associated with are Art’s Chip, Fox Valley Barzgar, Not Enough and Yellow Diamond. His first position at Pompano was as a Lasix coordinator, before moving up the ranks to his current position.

Jerry M. Haws
Jerry Haws is president and sales manager of the Blooded Horse Sales Company. He has spent more than 40 years in the sport as an owner and breeder. Graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Vice president of the Kentucky Harness Horsemen’s Association. Serves on the board of the New Vocations Racehorse Adoption Program. He and his wife, Billie, have five children: Jerry Jr., Charles, Asa, Britt and J.L.

Dein Spriggs

Dein Spriggs
Dein Spriggs is the president of the Florida Amateur Driving Club, which has donated more than $185,000 to various charitable causes since the club’s inception. Formerly a regular participant in the C.K.G. Billings Amateur Driving Series, Spriggs was named National Amateur Driver of the Year twice, first in 2004 and then again in 2005. In recent seasons he hasn’t driven as much in the Billings Series, although he has been productive in the Florida Amateur Driving Club’s races as well as competing against European counterparts in various international amateur competitions. Spriggs was the leading driver in the Florida Amateur Driving Club’s series at Pompano Park in 2017.

Joseph Pennacchio

Joseph Pennacchio
Joe Pennacchio is chairman of District 6. He is a retired CEO who spent most of his career in department store retailing. His last assignment was as the president of Jordan Marsh department stores in Boston. Pennacchio has spent more than 15 years as CEO for consumer products companies that were both manufacturing and distribution companies. He has had significant experience running companies with both United States and foreign facilities and has served on several boards for both private and public companies. Pennacchio currently serves as the president of the Florida Standardbred Breeders and Owners Association. He has been in the Standardbred business for more than 25 years, is a passionate amateur driver, and was named USHWA’s Amateur Driver of the Year in 2018. Most importantly, he loves the horses and this sport.
