BREEDING

Do you have a question on breeding your Standardbred?

All the forms require the Adobe Acrobat Reader to view or print.

When do I have to notify the USTA if my stallion bred mares?

Please submit a completed List of Mares Bred form by September 1 of the breeding year. If you need a form please click here.

Is there a fee due when I submit the List of Mares Bred?

Yes, beginning with breedings that took place in 2003 and later a $5 fee per mare bred is due with the completed List of Mares Bred form. If the form is not submitted by September 1 of the breeding year the fee increases to $10 per mare.

When will I receive the pre-printed registration applications or mating certificates?

Pre-printed forms are mailed anytime between December and February.

Where are the pre-printed forms mailed?

All pre-printed forms are mailed to the first owner listed on the stallion or brood mare at the time of service. If there is a current lease on file for the stallion or brood mare it will be mailed to the lessee.
