William R. Haughton Good Guy Award

Formerly known as the Clem McCarthy award, this honor was renamed for Hall of Fame trainer-driver William Haughton, who was killed in a 1986 racing accident. It is given to a person in the sport who is deemed the most cooperative with the members of the media, and who, in personality, most closely exemplifies the best characteristics of the late William R. Haughton.
