USTA Driving School Information

Join the fun and excitement as a participant of the USTA Standardbred Driving School. Become involved with harness racing as a driver, especially at the club (amateur) level, or simply learn more about the sport of harness racing. The USTA once again offers this unique opportunity for educational and hands-on experience May 20-23, 2010 at the Delaware County Fairgrounds in Delaware, Ohio. Participants must be at least 16 of age. There is a limited enrollment and the school fills up fast. Sign-up on-line or send your registration fee with the form TODAY! The USTA reserves the right to refuse or deny acceptance to the driving school.

Each participant will receive an opportunity for “hands-on” experience with Standardbreds, including jogging horses on the world-famous Delaware, Ohio, half-mile oval–home of the Little Brown Jug. Participants may complete the written driver’s examination at the conclusion of the school and complete the USTA Driver’s License Application.
