US Trotting Annual Board Meeting
The US Trotting Board of Directors meets annually each spring to discuss the US Trotting budget, vote on rule and bylaw change proposals, have committee meetings and hear from international guest speakers on various industry topics. US Trotting members and guests are welcome to attend the Annual Board Meeting.

Rule Change Proposals
Leading up to the Annual Board Meeting, there are 13 District Meetings held across the country, at which US Trotting members can meet with their local Directors, vote on rule change proposals and discuss US Trotting matters. The results from each District aid the Board of Directors in deciding whether to pass a rule change proposal by knowing how their constituents feel about each rule change presented.

Unless noted, the 2026 rule and bylaw changes adopted by the US Trotting Board of Directors will become effective May 1, 2026.
