SBOANJ offers free health screenings

Manalapan, NJ --- The Standardbred Breeders & Owners Association of New Jersey will hold free health screenings for horsemen on Thursday, October 29, at Freehold Raceway and Monday, December 7, at Showplace Farms.

The health screenings include those for cholesterol, blood pressure and body fat. The program at Showplace also includes testing for glucose, hearing and vision.

The screenings at Freehold on Thursday will take place from 12 noon to 3 p.m. near the guard stand entrance to the paddock.

At Showplace in Englishtown, N.J., the December 7 screenings will be offered from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the office of Chris Samaha above Barn J.
