Justin Hall moves into a rehabilitation facility
Tuesday, October 6, 2009 - by John Pawlak, the U.S. Trotting Association

Columbus, OH --- Driver Justin Hall, seriously injured in a racing accident at Caldwell, Ohio this past Aug. 21, has taken some halting steps on the road to recovery.

Hall was moved from the Ohio State University Medical Center to another Columbus hospital this past Thursday for the purpose of beginning rehabilitation treatment.

According to USTA Director of Officials T.C. Lane, Hall is able to hear and act on very basic commands from his therapists, which has given his family great hope that he will continue to show progress in his treatment. The next step would be to move to a hospital in Circleville or back to Ohio State University for further rehabilitation.

Lane also said that a fundraiser is being planned to aid Hall and his family. In the interim, donations may be made to a bank account opened on his behalf: Send contributions to the Huntington Bank, Justin Hall Donation Fund, P.O. Box 106, Chillicothe, OH 45601.
