Boinga is 2-1 favorite in Harold Dancer final

Manalapan, NJ --- Boinga, a daughter of Windsong’s Legacy, has been installed as the 2-1 morning line favorite in the $45,000 Harold Dancer Filly Final on Thursday, September 17, 2009 at Freehold Raceway.

The Harold Dancer Filly, carded as the second race, and the $55,000 Harold Dancer Colt, a non-wagering event at 12 noon, are restricted to 2-year-old New Jersey-sired trotters.  Both stakes are sponsored by the Standardbred Breeders & Owners Association of New Jersey.

Boinga, driven by Jim Meittinis and trained by Brian Roland, was third in her last start, the $100,000 New Jersey Sire Stakes Final at Freehold on August 26.  She has a first, a second and a third in eight starts and earnings of $27,672.

The filly was a $15,000 Harrisburg Yearling Sale purchase by Anthony and Carol Risi of Christiana, PA and Bernard O’Brien of Lecanto, FL.
